Abdul Rashid is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, and Leadership. He served as the Former Director of Compliance and Internal Audit at the University of Sharjah. Prior to his tenure at UoS, Mr. Rashid held pivotal roles within General Electric (GE) for an impressive span of 24 years. His journey at GE encompassed diverse regional leadership positions, culminating in his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) within a prominent UAE-based business group.

Throughout his career, Mr. Rashid has demonstrated a profound mastery of implementing robust Compliance Programs, devising effective Internal Audit plans, refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and spearheading process re-engineering initiatives to enhance commercial productivity and drive sustainable business growth.
