Prof. Dr. Navid Jamil Malik

Dr. Navid Jamil Malik holds a multifaceted role within the academic realm. He currently serves as the esteemed Director of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Director of the Professional Development Center (PDC), and Director of the Center for Rumi & Iqbal Studies (CRIS) at the University of Sialkot, Pakistan. Earlier, he also served here as Director of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and Head of the Department of Education.

 

With a rich professional background, Dr. Malik has demonstrated his leadership prowess as a former Principal at Iqra College of Technology, International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has also contributed his expertise as a faculty member of the Electrical Engineering Department at Umm Al-Qura University, a prominent higher education institute under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

In addition to this, he also served at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Islamabad and DHA Suffa University, Karachi, Pakistan. Recently, he established Holistic Research Group to train the individuals and conduct research in the areas of leadership. He is an author of 5 books of Urdu poetry and conducts research and writes with special interest in “Leadership in the Context of Mystic Literature”.

 

Dr. Malik’s reputation is founded upon his notable accomplishments in education, research, social work and business development. His remarkable abilities extend to mentoring and fostering growth, as evidenced by his membership in the TILTI faculty, where he aids individuals in enhancing their cognitive capacities and refining their thought processes.
